GMD Connect - Patient View for Scheduling a visit 

Patient Instructions


This document outlines how patients will schedule a Good Faith Exam (GFE) through the link sent to their email. 


To send your patient a GMD Connect invitation please reference the 'Telehealth Made Easy: Providing Patients with Invitations' support document.

Email Invitation


Once a clinic provides the patient with an invitation, the patient will receive it via email. Shown below is the invitation email sent to their inbox.


Key Information

  • Highlighted in the screenshot above is your clinic's "GMD Connect Referral ID". This code is necessary when scheduling an appointment. As a patient, kindly take note of the referral ID.
  • Notice below the code is a link. Patients utilize this link to schedule their GFE appointment.

GMD Connect: Booking an Appointment

Once your patient navigates to the link in the invitation email, they will be presented with the screen shown below. 



Telehealth Scheduling Steps 

There are 3 steps a patient will complete before a telehealth visit is scheduled.


Step One:

  • Please select what type of appointment the telehealth visit is for. Highlighted in the screenshot below.



Step Two:

  • Using the calendar, a patient will select the date and time when the telehealth visit will occur. Shown below is a screenshot of this step from the patients view.



Step Three:

  • The third step to schedule a telehealth visit is for the patient to fill out their personal information. Highlighted in the screenshot below you will find the key field to enter your GMD connect ID. Click the "Confirm Appointment" button to schedule your telehealth visit.


Please reference the invitation email to find your clinics refferal ID. To find this ID as a clinic, please reference  'Telehealth Made Easy: Providing Patients with GFE Invitation'



Confirmation Pop-Up:

Once a patient has completed the previous steps they will be presented with a screen successfully confirming the appointment. Shown below is a screenshot displaying the confirmed appointment pop-up.


Patients must finalize their account by following the instructions provided in the email sent directly after the appointment has been confirmed.
