GMD Connect - Understanding Billing

Clinic Guide

This document provides you with information to locate billing charges for telehealth visits and details on when and how you are billed for services.

When an appointment is created the system will generate an appointment record in the appointments table. This will be created as a "pending" appointment initially. You will not be billed for appointments in a pending state. When a provider locks a clearance form for your patient it will automatically attach to their corresponding appointment record, only then will we add the telemedicine appointment as one time line item to your invoice. You will be charged for appointments added to your invoice on your regularly scheduled billing date.

Billing Navigation

As a clinic, you will need to login into your portal. Once you successfully log into the main dashboard, notice the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the screen. Please click 'Billing Details" and select "Subscriptions" shown in the screenshot below.

Once you have navigated to your subscriptions you will be presented with the screen shown below. To view telehealth charges applied to your account please click the eyeball icon highlighted in the screenshot below.

Upon viewing your upcoming invoice, you will be presented with a pop-up, shown below.

The above "Upcoming Invoice Details" pop-up displays all charges associated with your account. If you are unsure about a telehealth charge, refer to the 'Invoice Line ID' header in the tables. Use this value to cross-reference with the Appointments tab in GMD Connect. Below you will find the appointments table, with the specific Invoice ID highlighted as it appears in billing.

To download your patients clearance form please reference the 'Telehealth Made Easy: Appointments Explained' support document.
