How do I upload a document or protocol in the portal?

Submitting Documents: Step-by-Step

Here is a simple and straightforward method of submitting documents, here are the steps below:

Step 1: 


  • Log into your Account on the GMD Portal using your Username and Password
  • Select Documents from the left-hand menu bar
  • Select Documents from the Documents drop-down menu item.
  • Navigate to the top right hand corner, select the Upload Document green button.






Step 2:
 

  • A Pop-up window will appear.

  • Does the document require physician signature? 
    • If the document does require a signature, click the 'no' button to switch this option to 'yes', and select your physician.
  • Select the Document Type
  • Add a description
  • Upload or drag & drop the document in PDF format.
  • Select Save Documents.



Step 3 (Uploading a protocol document): 

  • Login with your Clinic Account username and password.
  • Select Documents from the left-hand menu bar.
  • Select Documents from the Documents drop-down menu item.
  • Navigate to the top right hand corner, select the Upload Protocol Document green button.


  • A Pop-up window will appear
  • Select Physician Name from the drop down list. 
    • Collaborating Physician for Advanced Users: NP/PA/CRNA.
    • Core Compliance Physician for Standard Users: RN/EMT/Paramedic/EST/MA/etc.
  • Add a description text.
  • Upload or drag & drop the protocol in PDF format.
  • Select Save Documents.


  • A new Pop-up window will appear.
  • Add signature fields to each section/page of the protocol that needs to be signed by the Physician.
    • Click and drag the Signature box from the left-hand side menu options.
    • Place the Signature box on the page that needs to be signed by the physician
  • Verify the information, select Save and Close





Once you've successfully added signature field(s) and submitted the protocol for the Physician to review, you will be prompted with: 

  • The Congrats screen will appear and close window (top right-hand corner). 
  • A Success message.





Once you exit out of screen (top right corner) and submitted the protocol for the Physician to review, you will be prompted with: 

  • Navigate to Signature Status column. 
  • The protocol submitted will show the status as Pending.
  • This indicates that the protocol was successfully submitted to the Physician to review/approve.
  • Any approved protocols and documents will be archived in the Documents section under the Completed tab.
